The design of a DC power supply can be classified into 2 major parts, power source and voltage regulator, where voltage regulator circuit is made up of different discrete components such as transistor, resistor and diode. Mainly, a regulator will help to convert uncontrolled alternating current (AC) to controlled direct current (DC) output, where the stable DC output will then be supplied to device for operation purpose. Furthermore, with existing information provided, improvements were implemented on the circuit to further enhance its performance.
