Secondary structure predictor

Proteins are complex macromolecules that are extremely vital to living organisms. The various secondary structures that exist within the protein determine its functionality. In order to determine the type of structure formed, a secondary structure predictor may be used. This project aims to build a...

This project aims to build a secondary structure predictor based on the STRIDE algorithm. Written in Java, the predictor may be used to assign atoms from its PDB file format into molecules that are subsequently used for secondary structure prediction. This paper documents the design and implementation process of the secondary structure predictor and its capabilities.
