Description
Summary:My sister, Jocelyn is a special child with autism. For children like her, the family is the cornerstone in their lives. Autism does not only affect an individual but the overall family dynamics as a whole. Caring for a child with special needs is challenging in various ways - physically, mentally and emotionally. Yet, the needs of the family members with special needs are often neglected. If Only provides a channel for my family’s voice to be heard - the experiences we shared, individual thoughts and emotions we had before she started staying at a home for special needs. This series is a form of catharsis for my family and I, a healing process that mends the wounds caused by her absence in the family.
