Description
Summary:The genesis of this yearlong project is motivated by my constant immersion in negativity due to the volatility of my emotions, which I am determined to overcome. “She Who Lost Her Heart” is an illustrated storybook inspired by the wondrous imagery of the fifteenth-century artist Hieronymous Bosch. It narrates the story of a sad girl who embarks on a fantastical journey to discover happiness. The narrative and art direction seek to capture the audience’s attention, leveraging on my strengths in illustration to communicate with the viewers via metaphors associated with the concepts of happiness. This book aims to reach out to people who constantly struggle with maintaining a positive attitude towards life, thus serving as a conclusion to this yearlong journey of self-improvement.
