DRNTU::Engineering Electrical machines are vital for human life and productions nowadays, a reliable electrical machine requires proper maintenance, which involves not only the regularly checking but also a prediction of possible faults. An accurate deterioration prognosis could decrease the maintenance cost result from loss of production or machine breakdown. In order to proceed an accurate prognosis, an effective monitoring on all relevant values of the machine is necessary. However, due to the rotation property, a regular fixed sensor system for collecting data is not possible, thus a rotating wireless networked sensing system is introduced. The purpose of this project is to rotating telemetry sensor system for monitoring conditions of electrical machines, therefore by applying proper methodology and theory a reliable prognosis the electrical machine can be provided. This final year project is focused on the preliminary stage of failure prognostic system and aims to build a rotational wireless sensor system and provide a real-time wireless monitoring on the electrical machine.
