Description
Summary:As the booming era of mobile cloud computing and big data has arrived, constrains of onerous computation and analytical activities, such as computing speed, fossil hardware and inadequate performance get conquered. With this revolution of data technology, the traditional data processing capability will get enhanced from both the processing skills and the transmitting methodology. However, Cenozoic technology always faces challenges; the security issue during data collection and transmission should be the one which is most closely related to modern generation’s daily life. People must be aware of the security of information and data enough to avoid unnecessary economic losses. Those threats are widely spread among the communication activities, such as unintended disclosure, masquerading, and illegal monitoring, etc. In this situation, proper deployment of encryption methodology is essential to the data communication, especially data transmission between mobile devices and “central processors” (server). This project is basically an illustration of data communication between mobile devices (android operating system) and server. With encryption activity implemented on mobile devices side, decryption activity conducted on server as well. To realise the deployment of encryption techniques on large file transferring, this project will focus on the photo transferring from photo gallery to server with “large file encryption methodology”. This large file encryption methodology will involve Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), which is also known as Rijindael cipher, together with Rivest-Shamir-Adleman cryptosystem (RSA), which is also known as public key encryption. This project aims to achieve the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and privacy of the data.
