Summary: | The Platinum disulfide (PtS2) is a kind of transition metal dischalcogenides (TMDs), which has anisotropy due to its molecular structure. In order to study the Raman responses under polarized laser and low temperature environment, a new equipment is designed and set up. This equipment can provide 60k low temperature environment, and measures Raman and PL by laser with different wavelengths and different polarizations. With the help of this equipment, a 532 nm linear polarized laser is used for Raman measuring of PtS2 under room temperature. After analyzing on experience data, the peaks on Raman spectrum are determined whether they are polarization dependent or independent, and the reason of these peaks shifting is explained. Also, this report pointed out which kinds of vibrational modes these peaks belong to. |
