Therefore, the project is aimed to design and develop a cognitive robotic vacuum cleaner with better working functions under Arduino development environment. This paper illustrates the basic concept of machine learning and the functions of the vacuum cleaner. The hardware assembly and software programming are also explained in the paper. Based on the limitations of current commercial robotic cleaners, the paper gives new approaches to improve cleaner performance and meet the requirements from consumers. The author finally gains a clear understanding on the vacuum cleaner as well as an opportunity to enhance the creative and innovative qualities in a project environment.
