The inspiration comes from NTU Clicker, which is an interactive learning tool implemented based on radio frequency technology from Turning Technologies company around ten years ago. Since mobile devices (smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.) are not very popular at that time, clicker device is one of the best ways for interactive learning a decade ago. Nevertheless, from the year 2010 onwards, mobile devices have tremendously increased and this lead to revolutionary improvement in everyone’s life. Hardware device like NTU clickers are no longer the only choice. To some extent, smart application such as app/website can replace clicker and even provide better user experience. Users do not need to take hardware clicker devices all the time. Instead, simply use their mobile phone to submit answers and feedbacks. Therefore, a website is developed in this project to help lecturer set questions and let audience give their feedbacks. The website is also available to do some simple result analysis with some add-on functionalities. Obviously, NTU clicker device is still very stable and useful. But since a large amount of money has been invested on the clicker device and hardware system, probably in future this kind of investment will not be very necessary. Smart application like this website will cost much less and easier to be utilized. Achieving a full replacement of NTU clicker device will not take place but this could be a good step to explore.
