Standard methods cannot be utilized to monitor taking cost and time as the main factors. In this study, we will be looking in various methods such as the Power-Slip method and Losses method to monitor the performance by determining the power factor and efficiency as the main monitoring parameters without loading the machine in the presence of the nameplate in order to reduce time and cost. We will also be studying methods developed such as Approximation method and Harmonics methods to determine the necessary nameplate information to monitor the performance of the motor in the absence of the nameplate data in the induction motor. This study focuses on the literature review, development and application of these methods on different induction motors.
