Description
Summary:This report presents the design of a wireless Brain Computer Interface (BCI). The aim of the project is to create a wireless Brain-controlled mouse, allowing the bedridden patients or patients with disabilities to communicate with others with the help of using a Brainband by typing out their thoughts on the screen and send them out as a text message. Using Python, a Graphic User Interface (GUI), a Short Message Service (SMS) platform will be created. Brainwaves, also known as Electroencephalography (EEGs), given out by the user will be received and recorded by the Emotiv Control Panel Software. These recorded EEGs from the user will be mapped with keystroke or hotkey and send out using Emokey, the python program will detect the keys and move the mouse. Through this report, the reader will be able to know how these signal are recorded and send out, hence also using facial expression to control the mouse.
