Micro grid are becoming a promising technology for integrating distributed renewable energy systems and power storage systems with its high vitality efficiency and high power quality. This paper mainly talks about DSP based modular DC micro grids. The whole project contains three different operation modes, battery charging and discharging mode, Photovoltaic mode one and two. The battery can be charged by PV panels and discharged to supply the load located on the high-voltage side of the Bi-directional in dc to dc conversion. While during the mode of PV, it runs at concentrated power point tracking mode in order to capture the significant power point. The project can be divided into two parts, hardware design of the DSP based modulation and software programming algorithm. The hardware parts are combined with DSP controller board, main board of DC/DC converter, communication emulator and other supported devices. In window base station code composer studio, the program can be run and modulated in respected mode.
