A small and light unmanned aerial vehicle can possess the radar signature of a fighter aircraft for example, and act as a decoy. This project looks into enhancement of backscattering of an object using the concept of antenna array. The bandwidth of the enhancement is examined. The same enhancement technique is also adopted in shifting the centre frequency of the enhancement. The practicality of this method of enhancement on a thick structure is also tested. A fabricated model is used for measurement of radar cross section to verify the simulation results.
