In this project, the multiple outputs high frequency operating SMPS for PC power supply will be designed and developed. The basic concepts of SMPS are covered with few main topologies such as buck converter, flyback and forward converter. The design concepts and specifications of final circuit with the voltage control feedback loop will be explained in details. The tests and experiments are carried out to check the functionality and operation of the designed circuit to meet desired results. The considerations of component ratings are clarified and part numbers are provided for future work. PSIM simulation software is mainly used for designing, developing and testing the circuit.
