Game, as an interactive tool, could help to raise the players’ awareness of health problems in a fun way. This report illustrates a complete design and development process of a Windows platform food-themed role-playing game called Yummy Journey that aims to promote healthy eating habit. The game also introduces the traditional philosophy of Yin-Yang theory to guide player to choose food properly. This game is designed with Singapore signature dishes to broadcast Singapore’s food culture. The game is implemented using Unity3D game engine. The project achieves a hand drawn game scene and user interface. The art works including scene construction and animation creation using Photoshop and Unity are explained in detail. The report also illustrates the design of various game systems and how the functions are implemented using C# programming language. The development of this project adopts prototyping methodology.
