This final year project aimed to solve the problem of providing efficient and prompt first aid for patients under emergency circumstances by introducing mobile apps and other components. In this report, the details of such project from designing and developing to the outcome and evaluation will be comprehensively discussed. The project will use two android based mobile apps serving both potential patients and medical professionals as the main platform for most of the functions. A server application is also developed for the communication between mobile apps. Additionally, a wearable Arduino-based Bluetooth device is developed. Such device will make sure the patients can trigger emergency calls quickly and easily. Smartphones are now playing a more and more important role in our lives and provide a
considerable number of new solutions to some of our old problems. This final year project
aimed to solve the problem of providing efficient and prompt first aid for patients under
emergency circumstances by introducing mobile apps and other components. In this report,
the details of such project from designing and developing to the outcome and evaluation
will be comprehensively discussed.
The project will use two android based mobile apps serving both potential patients and
medical professionals as the main platform for most of the functions. A server application is
also developed for the communication between mobile apps. Additionally, a wearable
Arduino-based Bluetooth device is developed. Such device will make sure the patients can
trigger emergency calls quickly and easily. |
