DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering Human crowds happen frequently, normally without any problems. However, add in the factors of inadequate space to cater to a vast number of people as well as deficient crowd management measures and you’d get a messy situation that would result in injuries and fatalities due to the density of the crowd within the limited space. For this reason, it is extremely important to have the capabilities to be able to keep track of crowd density and movement in a confined area. Another problem major problem is the inability to track human count and movement in blind zones that are beyond the field of view of video surveillance cameras. Therefore, this study looks into the possibility of simulating a scenario of crowd and blind zones and analyse crowd density and movement in various scenarios.
