To cope with numerous events promotion, people could hardly have an integrative application to manage various events from different sources. Like students in NTU, the information for all the events about academic meeting, communities’ events, as well as career talks could be coming from emails, posters, or event flyers. As for the event organizer, there is also a need of application to create promotions, and host the events. In this context, an Event Management and Broadcast Mobile Application provides the integrated solution and platform for both potential events participants as well as event organizer to interact. It covers events registration, promotion and management for both participants and event organizer. In this final year project, a creative technique named Hybrid mobile application is adapted. It provides a native application user experience which is capable to work on different mobile platform. With same set of codes, the Event Management and Broadcast Hybrid Mobile Application is able to run on iOS, android and any other mobile system. To increase the business value of this application, a cooperation is formed with EEE Alumni Association (EEEAA) to help this organization to promote its events as well as to collect the user information from the Association to have a real situation testing to help to improve the performance of this Event Management and Broadcast Mobile Application. With research on Hybrid Mobile Application Technology and the market demands on event management, a mobile application named Eventor was developed to provide event management function for event participants and event promotion. With closely cooperation with EEE Alumni Association, career related events for EEE students are more focused and provide a creative combination of event management and career path building.
