Description
Summary:In this project, a programmable bandgap voltage reference is built by current mode approach on CSM018IC process with supply voltage 1.2V. An additional op amp is added to improve the current mirror accuracy and hence reduce the output temperature coefficient. A voltage reference with a single output 500mV is built primarily. In temperature range 0 to 70℃, it has a typical temperature coefficient 0.771ppm/K, and worst corner temperature coefficient 17.483ppm/K. After that, programmable feature is added and thus it is able to output 500mV, 250mV, and 125mV voltage references simultaneously. These three outputs have a typical temperature coefficient 3.943ppm/K and Monte Carlo sampling mean temperature coefficient 22.5 ppm/K over the temperature range 0 to 70℃ for 1000 samples.
