| Summary: | Preventive maintenance plays an important part in the performance and durability of an equipment. Intervals of preventive maintenance has been extensively researched and are recommended by ABC Singapore to their clients. When preventive maintenance contracts are signed, ABC Singapore has legal obligations to fulfill these maintenance jobs. The purpose of this report is to analyze the performance of job scheduling of a preventive maintenance (PM) operation at ABC Singapore via the study of the fulfilment of PM contracts.
An alternative approach to job scheduling is proposed in this report and tested by numerical means in order to validate its suitability and effectiveness. |
