Description
Summary:Energy management are of a growing importance to ports and terminals given the stronger international push and local governmental support. To examine the feasibility of an marrying both renewable energy production and energy consumption, a comprehensive simulation is presented. First, a systemic review of energy management system in conducted. Next, industrial knowledge are sought to provide fundamentals for the simulation. An discrete event simulation is used to model power consumption. Afterwards, the cost-benefit of energy management is analysed and discussed. Finally, the concerns of implementing energy management system is highlighted and provided a recommended guide.
