Summary: | Nowadays, the E-tutoring platform has become the most important “horizon project “to
be developed for many public schools and private education institutions in the
worldwide. To solve the demands of the “No Child Left behind Legislation”, many of
them, among others, are willing to implement E-tutoring programs to assist in the
meeting. Moreover, more and more schools have a desire to conduct online face-to-face
education and to complement the efforts of home, private, and alternative school
programs. There were many of the E-tutoring platforms available on the market
currently, such as Blackboard and WebCT, which have become the market leaders
currently. Although they are very popular in high-level education groups, such as
colleges or universities, they are not that suitable for primary school those enlightenment
education groups. Some more, they are very cost-prohibitive also. Thus, an alternative
E-tutoring platform customized for primary school is needed.
Through research, a program called Moodle was discovered. Moodle is an open source
program to support a community of developers. This report is about studying of Moodle
and developing the E-tutoring platform for primary school Year-5 mathematic study by
using Moodle. |
