It is also part of a system for smart home automation, which will in turn leads to smart cities. That’s why this project is to focus on providing a reliable automated system to protect rain starting from cloth hangers for our Singapore environment. The first step is to research and analyze the current and existing solution in the market to find out the missing part of the solution, which prevents those solutions, to become generally used products. To bridge the gap between the users and the solutions, the more detail requirements for the user also needs to be known. Only after that, to become an automated system, controllers and sensors are used to fill in the gaps. These components are used to replace the human so they can enjoy their life without worrying about the basic household chores. Without a reliable program, hardware alone will not do the job, so the program is written to efficiently utilize the hardware components while giving a solution to every possible scenario. Once the control part is done, another critical stage is emphasized, which is the design. The design of the system is carefully given thoughts to fully benefit the users in Singapore. The design has to exactly fit in to the existing hardware easily. It would not be practical to replace the whole hangers because of many reasons especially in commercial point of view. After all the designing and programming, this product will have all the advantages of fitting in nicely to the existing homes and benefitting the users in every ways. The customer will easily recognize the benefit of using this system at their home because of the simplicity and reliability of the system to reduce their hassle. With all the efforts put in ingeniously, this system will help consumers getting through their trouble of repeatedly washing and drying the clothes because of rain. Moreover, this project will help them stepping toward the dream of smart home and smart city in the near future. It is long pass due for society to have a decent protection to rain since it is a daily and globally relevant problem for everyone.
