张爱玲小说的主题研究往往被关注的是她苍凉的文学形态与冷艳的叙事风格，其背叛意识的文学价值则时常被忽略。本文选以张爱玲的背叛主题为研究提案是通过对她身世背景的观察所致；张爱玲小时父母便离异，母亲的疏离和父亲继母的虐待使她犹如被父母背弃一般无助。成年结婚后，张爱玲又再次被丈夫胡兰成一次次出轨背叛，可见张爱玲的人生经历充满了“被背叛”的主題。因此，不论是有意或无意，她作品中背叛意识的彰显和线索皆不容忽视，本文立意于探究背叛主题在张爱玲创作中的各类外在表现和隐藏内涵。第一步，本文将研究张爱玲1950年前后背叛主题的迥异，将背叛主题分化为“追寻精神自由”与“叛国害命”两大类别。再来，针对她创作中这两类背叛主题展开分析，列举两大时期各类背叛母题的彰显。最后，从主题表现的差异解析张爱玲创作意识与背叛主题转变的内在关联，进而探索张爱玲通过个别背叛主题揭示的社会议题。Within the current premise of studies for the literature theme of Eileen Chang’s work, many centrals around the fictional tragedies and the blasé presence of her narrative style, yet the literature value for the theme of‘betrayal’and its nature in her works were often overlooked. Eileen Chang has had many hurdles in life, significantly the betrayal of her parents and husband, which made her leave her place of origins. Therefore, we could definitely find traces of how this writer incorporated the theme of betrayal into her literature as an essential form of discontentment. This essay seeks to uncover and substantiate different forms of depictions and narrative concepts for‘betrayal’in the works of Eileen Chang, focusing primarily that of the period in the year 1950 as a divider. The theoretical framework of this essay would unravel the various betrayal motifs of this two significant periods, classifying the portrayal in accordance. From the variated depiction of the theme, this essay would argue the significant linkages between her life and her literature works’ theme, and the changes in her stance of writing over the years. Finally, this essay would explore the different societal issues, in which the theme surfaced, from her writings.
