When Roger passed away in 2014, his three sons, Morgan, Lincoln and Ryan, left their own ambitions and took over his business, renaming the company Roger&Sons in commemoration of him. In the documentary, the brothers speak to Roger and recount good memories and regrets in their relationship with him, reflecting on how the interactions with their father respectively shaped their individual decisions to takeover the family business. Business as Usual explores the concept of filial piety, a virtue of caring for one’s parents out of true devotion and love, which is often mistreated as a burden in today’s society. The Yeo brothers instead embody the true spirit of filial piety as they lovingly honour their father by carrying on Roger’s carpentry business in memory of him.
