Description
Summary:A user experience assessment and comparison of online movie booking system in websites and mobile applications among different movie vendors in Singapore. The objective of this project was to learn and acquire the relevant knowledge and skills to be able to make an accurate and comprehensive user experience assessment. Prior to data collection, research must be done on the subjects to be assessed, followed by the research on the suitable techniques and tools to collect the relevant metrics. The development of a user experience assessment plan form the basis of how data will be collected. This plan consists of the benchmarking activities to be performed and the order of tests conducted. The tests were conducted primarily based on scenarios and tasks. Lastly, data analytics were performed on the data collected. The user experience assessment was completed successfully with the freely available tools. Data analytics results shown that the overall performance among the website and mobile applications are relatively similar, with metrics only differing by a small margin. This user experience assessment is done mostly manually with tools available online, incorporating automation into the data collection and analytic process can greatly decrease the time especially if the number of participants to be assessed is to be increased.
