The average to say in broadest terms that children will leave their parents to earn their own living is between the ages of 16 to 30 with respect to the education level starting from diploma to master’s degree. Given the rising trend of children leaving their parents at an increasing early age, the need to look into children and parents relationship is vital in building future affairs. Also, children who stepped into working life may be too busy to contact parents frequently where phone calls and chats may drag to an hour or more. Technology has improved over the past decade. From 10 years ago, there were flip phones, no bells and whistles for meetups. Fast forward to today, technology has given us mobility in contacting each other, Internet is available almost everywhere we go, and of course the famous social media such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. With the growing trend of using technology, it makes functional independence among individuals easier. Therefore, there is an advantage in using technology to make the different generation share information and communicate with each other in an easy, efficient and loving way. The objective of this project is to enhance, maintain and improve the inter-generation interaction between children who have withdrew from their parents’ support and no longer live with parents via the help of technology. The technology involves building an Android based application. The Android Application was proposed to cater the deteriorating relationship between children and parents. The Application will take form as a simple voice-recording application that allows sharing and viewing of what each members in the family has recorded. The purpose is to promote a better quality and efficient platform to share information and communicate with family members. It utilises the advances in technology to use the voice recording function to its best ability to capture children and parents attention, allowing them to keep building on the relationship.
