| Summary: | This report describes continuation of an existing system that caters to iPhone users. It is an extension of a current system named NTUAsk. The objective of NTUAsk is to provide an alternate medium to establish an effective communication between students and lecturers in Nanyang Technological University (NTU). This is achieved through the anonymity feature. This feature prevents the identity of the student from being revealed since the students’ identity will be kept as anonymous whenever they post questions.
Since the system was built on mobile platform, this brings great convenience to the users, as the application will work regardless of the users’ location. As long as the users have access to Internet, they are able to use this application. Therefore, students are highly encouraged to use this application. As a result, higher utilization rate can be achieved.
The design and development of the system includes front end user interface with the framework provided by Apple Inc. An interactive and user-friendly graphic interface was designed which enabled low learning curve. Hence, a simple-to-use mobile application was produced. |
