Description
Summary:The prevalence of scale-free nature of complex networks across diverse systems, be it in social networks, collaboration networks, cellular networks, or regulatory networks has largely driven scientific interest and increased attention in research. In this paper, the real life applications of Network Science were discussed, followed by their associated commonly-used terminologies. The simulation of the error and attack tolerance of network topology was done. Finally, network dynamics was explored, by solving a network dynamic's specific ODE, and then performing numerical perturbation. The ODE's were then solved again following the perturbations to obtain a correlation matrix. Using the correlation matrix, various properties of the network dynamics were calculated and compared with the results of Barzel et al (2013). Following a similar framework from that paper, a network of professional men's tennis was constructed, and using empirical data, the correlation matrix and associated quantities were calculated.
