Description
Summary:Internet of things (IoT) is an important part of nowadays information technology, Internet of Things connects devices and sensors interact through internet, it is an extensional application of the internet. The Internet of things (IOT) is widely used in the integration of network technology, such as intelligent sensing, identification technology and pervasive computing. The IoT sensors are static devices, gathering data from their permanent and fixed locations and sending the data to gateways at fixed locations. While for some use cases, static and fixed deployment of WSN may simplify network management. For some other use cases, the application environment may experience frequent changes, e.g., container port where containers move in and out constantly. The communication links, therefore, may sometimes get blocked hence degrading the quality of service (QoS). We propose to develop a Mobile IoT framework based on a mobile WSN architecture in this project. In the proposed architecture, moving vehicles will be deployed. Gateways are installed on vehicles, and sensors may be installed in the environment and/or the vehicles. In this context, the vehicles may be the conventional sense of vehicles such as cars, buses, and trucks, but can also be robots, unmanned ground or aerial vehicles (UGVs/UAVs). Through analysis of enormous number of collected data, people can make more efficient planning and more accurate predicting in order to control events will occur.
