Description
Summary:Spacecraft and space systems are complex and generally difficult to design. The computation for the trajectory is no exception. For such nonlinear optimal control problems, they generally do not have any analytical solutions and hence the model for the computation are very difficult to design. Evolutionary Algorithms have been known to be able to solve such optimization problems and hence are employed as the system-level and local-level optimizers for such a system. In this report, we will apply some of the Evolutionary Algorithms on the Spacecraft Trajectory Optimization Problems set in the IEEE-CEC2011 Competition and evaluate the performance by comparing it to the benchmark.
