Presenting the BELLY GREEN system and campaign in NTU campus, features the first ever-pilot project to implement reusable containers within an institution in Singapore. The following report outlines the analysis of NTU’s behavioural habits, attitude and contribution towards a greener environment. It represents an effective way to curb plastic wastage by introducing reusable alternatives to reduce plastic disposables in NTU food outlets. With research and survey carried out on the existing reusable system in other institutions, a better understanding of perception and reception of potential users towards this change is established. BELLY GREEN will rely on a reusable system and design of its own reusable containers to present a greener alternative. From design and marketing of the concept and system, the BELLY GREEN project will include an educational campaign on the green environment to generate more awareness amongst the potential participants, comprising of 24,312 undergraduates (NTU 2017), staffs and visitors.
