Summary: | Using The United State’s rail network as a yardstick, our report aims to draw parallels between our
selected economies, them being The United States, China and India, in an attempt to lay out critical
success factors that determines if a railway network is to succeed. By means of making comparisons
between the current state of all their economic statuses and rail networks as well as current and future
trends, we pick out problem areas of these existing economies; building on data gathered and analysis
made to make informed recommendations on how their economy should proceed in developing the
industry. This means to say that The United States has the most developed network currently but is not
indicative of how The United State's rail network is a faultless model. The purpose of doing so is to
provide a framework for countries in developing nations or in the midst of developing their rail network
to know the critical success factors that they have to focus on as well have guidelines as a basis of
evaluating their progress. |
