Electricity is very important to every individual in the current world and energy consumption will keep increasing in the future, therefore resulting a rise in electricity bills too. It is very important to know how consumers should do in order to control and manage the electricity usage efficiently. The author’s Final Year Project is about Home Energy Management System (HEMS). The main purpose of this project is to let the consumers monitor its energy consumption as well as showing them the change in cost with the help of HEMS. This report shows what is the information that can be displayed in the Graphical User Interface (GUI) designed with LabVIEW.
