It is really one of the important means to improve efficiency of the management of resources in a company /business. Reliable and early detection of failure of any part of the gas pipe is crucial to ensure the safety and reliability of the gas supply in Singapore. When the condition monitoring system detects an event, how to effectively and conveniently present the information like event types, locations, etc. is a key part in this project. This project proposes to use GUI with Geographic Information Service (GIS) mapping to present this information. The event location will be displayed in the map on the computer with different zoom levels. Meanwhile, the event information will be sent through email to the service staff. In this project, a enterprise system would be developed to linked up a processing software which will display results happening in real world situations with gas pipelines and would then relay such information to employees of the respective companies.
