As a result, few to no built spaces force us to their intended use. Much of our intellect and creative energy is put to work in creating and recreating expectable and practical spaces with generic forms that ease us into acceptance. Despite a growing and increasingly empowered awareness of this arrangement, most of us seem content to play along. The exchange is not without its benefits.
