Summary: | In the recent era, improvement of technology has made electricity more on the demand throughout the world. The AC to DC conversion is vital for the domestic devices used by end-users. Since the demand is higher, the efficacy of power quality would be necessary. Despite a conventional rectifier has its advantages, harmonics injection due to switching is injected back the power system causing a distortion in the line voltage. For the efficacy of power quality to occur, a unity power factor and reduction of harmonics injection would be needed to enhance on. Many methods have being research on to attain a healthy power quality. By integrating bidirectional switches with the Hysteresis Current Control method is used to compensate the distorted line voltage. In this paper, a further elaboration of a parallel rectifier with bidirectional switches, integrated together with Hysteresis Current Control will be done. |
