| Summary: | Lacuna is an animated short film about the distrust between the 2 main characters, Master, and apprentice. Lacuna aims to tell a cautionary tale about how disharmony within a pair can lead to disaster. The film wishes for the audience to feel and understand that trust is essential to the success of any goal. Through the viewpoint of the Master Pilot, we hope to enforce the importance of listening, instead of waiving the information aside. The film was completed by 4 animation students including myself over the period of 2 semesters. With my role as the Producer and 3D lead, this report is a summary of the progress on this project from its inception to the final film, focusing on each stage of artistic choices and technical challenges, as well as solutions. |
