總結:This report has discussed the experimental investigations performed pertaining to heat transfer from flow models, with aims to characterise flow properties in an analogical vessel. Apparatuses used in this study were briefly reviewed in the initial phase, to contribute to a meaningful test rig that enables a closer replication of the analysed model. Sequenced in seven work stages, the test rig construction and experimental studies were presented chronologically to illustrate the advancements in sophistication and relevance towards the research objective. Amongst these investigations, two active thermography techniques – pulsed and lock-in – were explored primarily as thermal stimulations, with various stimulation durations experimented to provide the optimal results intended. Lastly, flow constriction models were introduced to mimic an arterial stenosis commonly related to cardiovascular diseases.
