The evolution of smart phones has introduced tens and thousands of mobile applications every year, which brought in much more convenience and solved many problems faced by humans. This report focuses on the development of an Android application created to introduce famous local street food to Singaporeans and travelers. Android Studio supported by a real-time web service called Firebase is used to develop this food application. Based on user research, the final product can recommend highly-rated local traditional food to the users on the go, as well as providing GPS direction to the stall itself. Since food bloggers nowadays are paid for their reviews, thus this application is developed such that every user can be a food critic, by being an in-application food blogger. At the same time, users will be able to take reference from the posts blogged by existing food bloggers, use the navigation system in the application to reach selected destination, try and record their own dining experience in the application to share with others. The final product of this project is believed to be a good marketing tool for Singapore tourism sector. This simple connection would help to transform each travel experience into a unique and personalized one.
