Summary: | The rise of aviation industries has brought demands of having more economical and compact ways of powering up the Aircraft. Power electronics converters are becoming essential components in system required to supply different load (AC or DC). These are classified as More Electrical Aircraft's(MEA). Research are being carried out to find more ways of using electric system in traditional hydraulic powered system. The focus on the future MEA will not be solely in its power electronics but also in its communication system. Real time reading on electrical parameters are essential in determine the reliability and stability of these power system. CAN communication protocol are the widely adopted in the industrial due to the numerous advantage.
The objective of this project is to create a LabVIEW Graphical User Interface that can communicate with the power system in real time. |
