This report consists of the circuit design of the AC to DC converter (used to charge the battery), the procedure of data acquisition by using NI-DAQ devices and the design of the battery monitoring system based on NI LabVIEW. The whole system provides highly reliable real-time data in the period of charging the Li-ion battery while the calculations are finished on the computer.
