In this project, we will be studying beamforming techniques for the multi-user millimeter wave communications. Millimeter wave communication is one of the most promising technologies that may be implemented for the future 5G wireless networks. So far, there are several works which have addressed the millimeter wave beamforming for single-user communication. However, research for multi-user millimeter wave communication is at its infancy stage. Hence, this area still needs to be investigated in a much greater detail with includes studying the performance index such as spectral efficiency and bit error rates of proposed Hybrid Beamforming and Analogue-only Beam-steering.
