Visible light and infrared light are examples of optical phenomena which uses the classical electromagnetic description of light. The author, along with his partners, Yash Mankani, and Jolene Chong, who oversee the business operations and marketing sector of FunWithOptics respectively, designed a kit that serves as an educational kit for secondary and tertiary school students. Currently, the kit includes BodyCam, 3DCam and RainbowCam. The kit is an interactive and fun way to learn the science of optics, with insightful educational manuals that aids in the learning. Students would be able to inculcate interest of the widely growing field of optics and its applications from a young age. Each optical system in the FunWithOptics kit comes with an educational manual that caters for all levels. The manuals are designed for both in class teachings and laboratory-based sessions. The manual attempts to bridge the gap between optics and life by touching on a topic that is relevant and related to optics. Science can be fun and exciting and that advancements with light are all around them. The motive is to get students excited about optics. The experiments are developed with real-world applications of optics technology.
