However, physical ergonomics might be overlooked by companies which in turn might lead to the increased potential of work related risks and injuries. SynPhNe proposed to have a working template of a physically ergonomic workshop that can be replicated in the same form for future SynPhNe developments. With the world moving along into the era where workers are commonly needed to be in front of computers and desk, without the incorporation of ergonomics study in design of furniture, a rise of patients suffering from MSDs will be imminent. The author identified that designing an ergonomic work table will be able to set the base of the layout for the workshop. As such, the project will be focused on designing and developing an ergonomic work table. The ergonomic table designed will take into considerations of individual workstations so there will not be a need for major customization of the table. The author took into considerations of the required type of actions for each specific workstation and the physical aspect for a user such as their reach and head position while doing their work to finally come up with the perfect dimensions for the table that will suit each individual work station. Physical ergonomics is an essential component for companies in the manufacturing and industrial line especially during this modern era of high level of production and competitiveness among companies.
