| Summary: | In today’s Singapore, aging population are growing at a faster rate than anyone could imagine. Having an elderly being brought to a daycare center is not an unusual scene anymore, as most of the individual are going through a very busy life style. Resulting in most of the day care center shorthanded for nurses. In this project, the focus is to intergrade a pressure mat and tablet on the wheelchair specifically to assist the nurses in monitoring the wellbeing of the elderly in the day care center.
Studies will be carried out in this report for varies topic such as what are the type of technology are the pressure using, methods for Interface Pressure analysis, siting posture, correct wheelchair siting posture and what are the current available product in the market. Various experiments on the pressure mat will also be conducted in this project. With the experiment concluded, a brief result and discussions will be carry out. |
