Another finding is the different circulation patterns during the daytimes and the nighttimes in Kranji reservoir for the experimental study period which was during the Southwest monsoon and when the circulation pattern was wind driven, without the influence of tributary inflows. The spatial distribution of chlorophyll-a concentration as calculated by the Computational Aquatic Ecosystem Dynamics Model (CAEDYM) was lastly qualitatively correlated to the derived circulation patterns.
