Based on this view, we have done a simulation of our lab space. We aim to build a model and conduct simulation for it in order to obtain the energy consumption data which can be referred to for further improvements. In the beginning, I introduced and analyzed the function and components possessed by smart buildings, such as HVAC systems, followed by the introduction of powerful simulation tools TRNSYS and EnergyPlus. After comparison, I selected EnergyPlus as the main analytical simulation tool. In addition, I depicted the specific simulation process step by step, followed by data analysis and discussion on the energy efficiency.
