Summary: | This study attempts to replicate and quantify the interaction between a novel polymer, 70-5,
synthesized by SCBE (School of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering) and antibiotics of
several different classes against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. We have been able to replicate
beneficial effects at several concentrations of polymer for some rifampicin, trimethoprim
and chloramphenicol but not ciprofloxacin. Additionally, in this study the data was
insufficient to establish a trend in dose vs activity. |
