An incredible amount of effort is needed to capture photos of events that occur too quickly and cannot be observed by the naked eye. Photographers often retry hundreds or even thousands of times to capture the perfect frame of a high-speed event. Fortunately, there are devices in the market that aid photographers who chase such goals. These products aim to use sensors and computers to control their cameras, since computers are fast and can carry out instructions much faster than humans physically can. This project is aimed at easing the tedious process of high-speed photography, by designing and developing applications for specific high-speed photography scenarios. With the use of an existing Intelligent Photography remote designed by a previous FYP student, this project seeks to extend the uses of the remote so that a photographer has a range of scenarios and photos he wishes to capture.
